About this product
Dried okro is used to thicken soups — draw soup, okra soup, and egusi in particular. The key to good dried okro is the quality of the fresh okro going in and the drying conditions. Poor drying gives you a discoloured, musty product that tastes wrong in the pot.
We grow our okro without synthetic pesticides or herbicides on our farm plots. After harvest, it is dried in our facility under managed temperature and airflow, then milled to a consistent grind.
Packed in sealed bags. Shelf-stable under normal storage conditions.
